Why I Created CalDef AI
I'm 43 years of age. Since stopping playing football at the age of 27 and discovering food and alcohol I slowly started turning into a chunky guy.
In 2020 when the Covid pandemic hit the UK, I like many people turned to food in lockdown. I put on an obscene amount of weight that not only massively affected my mental health but also my physical health.
It's now Jan 2024. I was 42 when I knew I HAD to make changes. I'm 5'8 and I weighed in at 115kg (18.1 stone) I tried to exercise and got injured, moreover I work a tough job and the motivation for ongoing exercise had just deserted me. Bottom line - I just couldn't be arsed!
I decided I needed a change of approach. I demystified weight loss to myself using this very system. This isn't a healthy nutritious eating plan, unless you want or need it to be. I ate sweets, takeaway, bad food (as well as good) and still manage to hit all my goals.
15 months down the line, it's April 2025 and I now weigh in at a healthy 73.6kg (11.5 stone).
